Our Approach to Refunds
Professional development is a commitment—both yours and ours. We've built this refund policy around real situations we've encountered over the years. It's not about rigid rules but about what makes sense when circumstances change.
Career coaching requires time to show its value. Most clients start seeing shifts in perspective within a few weeks, but meaningful career changes take months. That's why our refund windows are tied to actual program milestones rather than arbitrary dates.
When You Can Request a Refund
Before Your Program Starts
Changed your mind before your first session? We get it. Life throws curveballs. You'll receive a full refund minus a administrative fee if you cancel at least 5 business days before your scheduled start date.
Start Date Clarity
Your "start date" means the first scheduled coaching session or the first day you gain access to digital learning materials—whichever comes first.
Within the First Three Weeks
Sometimes a program just doesn't fit. Maybe the approach doesn't match your learning style, or the timing turned out to be worse than you thought. If you decide within 21 days of starting that this isn't working, you can request a partial refund.
- You'll receive 70% of your program fee back
- You must have completed no more than two coaching sessions
- You can keep any digital materials you've already downloaded
- The request must come from you directly, not a third party
After Three Weeks
Once you've been actively participating for more than three weeks, we consider you fully engaged in the program. At this point, our coaches have invested significant time in understanding your situation and creating customized guidance. Refunds after this period are handled on a case-by-case basis and typically require documented extenuating circumstances.

A brief explanation helps us improve our programs. You don't need to write an essay—just a few sentences about what led to your decision.
We'll Review Within 3 Business Days
Our team reviews each request individually. You'll hear back from a real person, not an automated system.
Receive Your Refund
Once approved, refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
Processing Times and Methods
We process refunds the same way you paid us. Credit card refunds typically appear within 7-10 business days, though your bank might take a few extra days to post it. Bank transfers can take up to 14 business days depending on your financial institution.

Payment Plan Participants
If you're on a payment plan, your refund calculation is based on payments already made, not the full program cost. Any future scheduled payments will be canceled immediately upon refund approval.
Situations That Affect Refund Eligibility
What Makes You Ineligible
- You've completed more than 50% of scheduled coaching sessions
- You've accessed the majority of digital course materials
- You've already received a partial refund for a different Venustech program within the past year
- Your account shows violations of our code of conduct
- You received the program through a third-party corporate arrangement
Special Circumstances We Consider
Sometimes life gets in the way in ways nobody could predict. We handle these situations with flexibility:
- Serious medical emergencies affecting you or immediate family
- Sudden job loss or major unexpected financial hardship
- Relocation to a location where time zones make participation impossible
- Technical problems on our end that prevented program access
These require documentation, and we'll work with you to find the right solution—whether that's a refund, program pause, or schedule adjustment.

What Happens to Your Materials
Digital downloads present a unique challenge. Once you've downloaded a workbook or resource guide, we can't take it back. That's why our refund policy draws a line based on how much material you've accessed.
If you receive a refund, you're expected to delete downloaded materials and discontinue use of any access credentials. We operate on trust here—we're not going to police your hard drive, but continued use after a refund crosses an ethical line.
Corporate Program Refunds
If your employer paid for your enrollment as part of a group corporate program, the refund process works differently. We issue any approved refunds directly to the company that paid, not to individual participants. Your HR department or program coordinator handles the request on your behalf.
Corporate agreements sometimes include different terms negotiated specifically for that organization. Check with your internal contact about what applies to your situation.
Questions or Disputes
Most refund questions get resolved through straightforward conversation. If you feel we've made an error in evaluating your request or if you disagree with our decision, you can request a review by a different team member. We'll respond within 5 business days with either a revised decision or a detailed explanation of why the original decision stands. Our goal isn't to win arguments—it's to treat every situation fairly based on the actual circumstances.
Policy Changes
We update this policy occasionally as we learn from experience and as our program offerings evolve. Any changes apply to programs purchased after the revision date. If you enrolled before a change, the policy that was in effect when you signed up is what governs your enrollment.
When we make significant changes, we'll email active participants. Checking this page periodically is still a good idea if you're considering future programs.
